76100

The ref. 76100 was introduced around 1984, replacing the 94110. This transitional reference was only produced for a very brief period and is most famous for the “lollipop” hour hand. Unfortunately, the “lollipop” hour hand was short lived due to the cracking in the large surface area of luminous material.

The 76100 was produced in both blue and black dials and only existed with a date function. Similar to the end of production dial version of the 94010, and the future ref. 79090, we find triangular hour markers at 6, 9, and 12. Early examples of the 76100 have “T SWISS T” while later examples have “T-SWISS-T” below the 6 o’clock marker.

It was powered by the Tudor Modified ETA movement 2824-2. As with previous references, it was fitted with a Rolex stamped case back and signed “76100” inside the case back.

Approx. serial range: 64xxx to 23xxxx
